About Our Under 15 Teams

Almost all of our current team started with us at the very beginning as an Under 6 squad. Numbers have grown rapidly in this year group from our initial 12 up to our current squad of 35!
Our teams are coached by five FA Qualified coaches who, along with the entire team, continually strive to learn and develop to become better players and/or coaches in a game we all love to play.
Now, as many other coaches within Hailsham United Junior Football Club will tell you, a teams success can be measured in many different ways. We have had great success as a team in our non-competitive leagues and we have also had great success in end of season tournaments whereby we have topped groups and gone on to come out winners and/or runners-up, BUT, perhaps an even greater achievement within our team is that of the players themselves. We have seen players that haven't kicked a ball before join our club and score their first goal. We have players who began with us painfully shy, that are now bursting with confidence calling for the ball. We have players from this age group that have been scouted to play for academy squads such as the Chelsea, Brighton and Westham along with a recent player that has gone on to train with the Para Olympics for a Team GB Jersey! That, my friends, is what we measure our success by and every person associated with this club is proud to do so :)
